About

I am an Assistant Professor and Extension State Range Specialist in the Natural Resource Management department at South Dakota State University. In this role, I am responsible for Extension programming and research related to South Dakota rangelands. This includes developing collaborations with other SDSU faculty, as well as non-profits, and state and federal agencies, such as the SD Grassland Coalition, SD Game, Fish, & Parks, NRCS, and BLM, to name a few. I am especially interested in developing programming to engage women and youth, and am invested in education and outreach as a means to sustain and regenerate South Dakota ranching.
