I am an Assistant Professor and Extension State Range Specialist in the Natural Resource Management department at South Dakota State University. In this role, I am responsible for Extension programming and research related to South Dakota rangelands. This includes developing collaborations with other SDSU faculty, as well as state and federal agencies, such as the SD Grassland Coalition, SD Game, Fish, & Parks, NRCS, and BLM, to name a few. I am especially interested in developing programming to engage women and youth, and am invested in education and outreach as a means to sustain South Dakota ranching.
